Buying console games is habit forming… I know this because I have bought so many console games but have not played the majority of them. So I wonder where the inclination to buy so many console games comes from? Back when I was younger I would buy one game, play it until the end and then buy another. I guess the availability of money is one factor and the fact that I get free $50 Best Buy cards from my credit card rewards program doesn’t help 
At least I’m not spending money to buy them!
I have quite a few console games lined up to play:
1. Metroid Trilogy
2. Super Mario Galaxy
3. New Super Mario Bros Wii
4. Zelda Twilight Princess
5. Bioshock
6. Halo 2 (PC)
7. Fallout 3
8. Virtua Fighter 4
I know I have a few more I just can’t think of them. I didn’t buy them all at once, these are games that I have collected in 2009. One of my new years resolutions is to actually play them
You are so right there! You have to prioritize things. For me having two kids and a job prevents me from doing everything.
I hear you, I have a similar list of games which I have sitting on my shelf waiting to be played, there are just too many things to do and not enough hours in the day and “taking the time” or “making an effort” to play games seems somehow, wrong.
