Dr Who: What to do with my existing playfield

So now that I have bought a nice restored field what am I going to do with the old one?  Well I take this as yet another learning experience in this hobby and I want this playfield to look good.  I plan on scanning the new playfield when it comes and printing off some decals with water slide decal paper from Papillo.  I have leveled the top of the playfield and once I print the decal and apply it I will clearcoat the top of the playfield to make it hopefully look nice and seamless.  The challenging part will be to match the blue with my printer’s blue.  Stay tuned!
