I won an eBay auction for this game last weekend and picked it up last night.
Game was described as having all of the fuses removed and indeed they were all gone. It was supposed to work the last time it was played so I crossed my fingers that all will be 100%. Last night I vacuumed out all of the dirt and plugged it in for the first time… will it work? Unfortunately its not 100%, the game fires up and plays blind so I will have some monitor repair in my future. This game has the Matsushita TM202G which can be problematic. I do have a brand new monitor I could put in this game but I’d prefer to get the original working since the tube is burn free.
Even though this might be a quick fix up I need to focus on getting my Twilight Zone up and running so this game will sit on the sidelines for a while. I couldn’t completely stay away though so I decided to clean up one of the sides to see how nice it would come out. I did a test spot:

Very promising. I went ahead and attacked the entire side and ended up with this:
I am very happy with how that came out! The other side is going to be a lot more work though, it has a lot of long scratches on the side of the game that I am going to have to touch up.
